Variety is our forte’ – Presenting music to soothe, exhilarate, get your toes tapping, shoulders swaying, and heart bursting. This year, audiences enjoyed cool jazz and fine food at OIMB’s boathouse, swinging tunes and sun- shine at Shore Acres, an impassioned piano performance by Priscilla Dantas, fusion and funk with charlie freak at the new Liberty Pub, along with our always superb orches- tra concerts at MHS. It takes a village to present a festival of this caliber, and we are so grateful to these generous sponsors and hosts who brought you this year’s stunning events: Umpqua Bank, The Mill Casino, Sterling Bank, Friends of Shore Acres, Black Market Gourmet, Soroptimists, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Bay Area Sunrise Rotary, Southwestern Oregon Community College, Oregon Coast Culinary Institute, and Bay Area Rotary. A round of applause for them, please!
We added a couple extras this year to spike interest… Brown Bag Lunch Talks with Jason Klein who left ‘em laughin’ and certainly more well informed and an extra t- shirt design, compliments of winning young artist, Samantha Cross who participated in our KINDER KONZERT series.
And 2014 has surprises galore in store for concert-goers. Just you wait and see.
