Aaron Johnson and Greg Chen are New York based artists with roots on the West Coast who share their experience and interests in educational workshops. The musicians will explore the communicative nature of musical collaboration. The workshop will provide a supportive environment for participants to explore their instrumentation, practice stage etiquette and performance. Other opportunities for one-on one mentoring during the festival will be arranged during this event. Opportunities for engagement include attending Orchestra preview seminars, volunteering to usher at events, attending the open rehearsal of the Pops concert on Thursday, July 24 at 10am with an opportunity to meet some of the musicians following rehearsal.
