Afternoon Music Café
JULY 18 FRIDAY AFTERNOON MUSIC CAFÉ AT THE NORTH BEND LIBRARY
Just Jensens and Tree-O have a long legacy of engagement in education and musical performance in the area. The audience packed the newly remodeled event room at the library to listen and engage with the music.
Library staff member and host Drea Douglas welcomed everyone.
Just Jensens, with Wilbur Jensen, Bonnie Jensen Cox and Peggy Jensen Christensen opened the event. Jenni DeLeon substituted for Judy Jensen Snyder and additional percussion support was provided by John Jensen.
Just Jensens ended their set with great community enthusiastic participation in the Chicken Song that brought Trio-O’s Kathleen Zappelli, and Josie Reid to help lead the dances.
Intermission refreshments included a special cake, and beverages for all attendees.
The vocal trio of Peggy Maddron, Kathleen Zappelli, and Josie Reid was accompanied by Luanne May on keyboard closed out the afternoon café concert.
