July 17 @ 7 pm. \nFantasia: Anela Lauren\,Celtic Harp\, Bruce Rowe Guitar\, Adam Weiner Percussion\nSide of the Tide Morris Dancers\nSouth Coast Folk Society: Sharing\, teaching\, and preserving U.S. and world folk traditions for the residents of Oregon’s South Coast \n$15 – Click here for purchase. \nFantasia\, a progressive Celtic folk/rock band features the synchronistic blend of original music of Bruce Rowe and Anela Lauren\, backed by the harmonic beats of Adam Weiner. Their inspiration comes from the ancient world of fantasy and its themes of chivalry and honor\, which have been lost in the passage of time. Lauren is a classically trained pianist and harpist who embraces the freedom of jazz and improvisation. Weiner has trained and studied percussion from many cultures. Rowe has explored many genres and played across the nation. \nThe South Coast Folk Society will feature two dance groups \nThe Side of the Tide Morris Dancers will perform colorful traditional English dances to lively period music to provide an enchanting glimpse of life in the English countryside hundreds of years ago. Their high-energy dances have thrilled audiences in Seattle at Folklife\, and at numerous festivals in Oregon and Washington.   \nInternational Folk Dance Troupe will feature popular village dances from the Middle East\, the Balkans\, South America and beyond.
