July 13 @ 2 pm. \n$50 – SOLD OUT \nReception catered by Black Market Gourmet\nEvent Sponsor: Christine Moffitt\nSpecial Host Assistants: Carol Ventgen & Mike Perkins \nJoin the Quartet for a reimagining of Jazz Sambas and an exploration of repertoire associated with the Bossa Nova Craze of the 1960’s including music from the iconic 1964 album Getz/Gilberto with additional music by Laurindo Almeida\, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Clare Fischer. \nAaron Johnson\, saxophonist\, clarinetist\, and flutist returns to his home town for the Festival and joins other events throughout the week. \nWilbur Jensen\, trumpet\, and flugelhorn has long been part of Oregon’s music community as performer and mentor to countless musicians. Jensen’s musical legacy of engagement with internationally recognized bands is impressive.
