Spectacular Shore Acres State Park is the site for our second outdoor concert of Festival. Blankets, camp chairs, a picnic lunch and bare feet are welcome. Groove to the compelling music of Kukuva. Since 1993 this Portland based band has been bringing their spirited music to festivals, schools and private functions around the Pacific Northwest. Local instructors and visiting musicians from Zimbabwe have taught them the Shona people’s traditional and contemporary style that shapes Kukuva‘s music. They delight in entertaining with this unique and joyous musical form that denies the option of sitting still.
